Over the years I have thrown away countless salt mills, supposedly with life-time guarantees....whose life is unclear but it certainly wasn't even as long as the load of salt in some cases! However I have finally discovered that this mill stands up to even the rigours of himalayan salt, which is perhaps the most challenging salt ever...grinding it beautifully and evenly, plus easy to fill with a huge internal volume.
