I have just used this for the first time and it is as described easy to use, previously I have used a mouli to press my tomatoes although this does the trick, it is messy and time consuming.
I processed twelve pounds of tomatoes in a couple of minutes with no blockages the sieve mechanism worked really well and when I was finished the whole thing went into the dishwasher and came up like new, I wish I had found this product years ago.

I have been preserving tomatoes for years and making my own Passata this gadget takes all the pain out of skinning and preparing tomatoes, when your done you can bung it in the dishwasher. My lifes complete ! (Posted on 25/05/2010)
