Home cooks seeking something different to give their loved ones this Valentine's Day may want to take a trip to Floral Events in Worcestershire.

Based in Malvern, the florist is offering edible bouquets that contain a number of different ingredients that can be used in recipes to create a meal for two.

All of the items are locally produced by vegetable growers WR Haines and fruit growers at Clive's Fruit Farm, which are within a stone's throw of Floral Events.

Victoria Carman of Destination Worcestershire commented: "This is the perfect way for people to experience a Taste of Worcestershire, quite literally.

"It's a great way to 'shop local' and is something very different to champagne and chocolates."

Earlier this month, the Salisbury Journal revealed that the 2011 Hampshire Food Festival is in search of contributors as organisers hope to build on the success of last year's event.
