Cookery school lays claim to 'real' 30-minute meals
Disgruntled viewers of Jamie's 30-Minute Meals who have found it hard to cook up a storm in just half an hour are being invited to L'atelier des Chefs.
The cookery school, located in London's West End, shows home cooks how to make meals that do not take hours to slave over, reports This is London.
"It's slightly unrealistic for people to cook two-three courses in an evening when they get home from work, but the half-hour recipes for a main course you can definitely do in half an hour," explained general manager Marie Clarke.
She added that many people will have cook books in their home kitchens, but never put them to good use, so they need their confidence restored.
Earlier this month, BBC Good Food launched its own iPad application, which gives people access to the best recipes whenever they want.
