BBC Good Food launches iPad app

BBC Good Food Magazine has now launched its own iPad application, meaning home cooks can easily access all the latest recipes.

The February edition of the magazine is available to download from the Apple store for just £1.79 as part of an introductory offer, with future publications costing £2.99 each.

Publishing director Alfie Lewis commented: "We think the iPad has great growth potential and we are delighted to launch this product at this early stage in the new technology's development."

He emphasised that the app has functionality at its heart, giving home cooks the chance to revolutionise the way they create delicious meals.

This follows the launch of the BBC Focus iPad app, which was the first of its kind to be made available on the Apple device.

It contains both enhanced features and a number of interactive elements that are sure to excite science and technology fans.
