Diet can help with exam success, says expert
Exam success may be about more than doing enough study, as diet plays an important role in ensuring the body and mind are well prepared.
This is according to diet and fitness consultant Shipra Mathur, who told the Times of India that a balanced diet is essential for any student.
"For studying late in the night, high protein should not be consumed as these are not easy to digest and also add on to the weight," she continued.
Ms Mathur highlighted that too many students spend all day binge eating at home, mainly on unhealthy foods, while also failing to engage in enough exercise.
Breakfast is essential when taking an exam, she added, with protein-rich foods such as porridge and yoghurt among the best products to have in a morning.
Harry MacMillan, chief executive officer of MEND, recently suggested that there is a common misconception that healthy eating is expensive to achieve.
