Welsh hotel to inspire home cooks in Spain
A luxury hotel in Wales is extending its operations overseas by launching a brand new cookery school in Spain.
Oriel County Hotel, which is located in St Asaph, will be opening the school close to the world-renowned El Bulli restaurant, which has three Michelin stars.
Ken Saltrese has owned a house in the area for the last three decades and hopes that the new cookery school will inspire people in the region and help build on the successes of El Bulli.
"Many of the people who have worked there have left to set up their own businesses and I have got to know a number of these chefs," he explained.
Pupils at the school will have access to accommodation and even a spa when they enrol.
A recent Netmums poll found that many parents lie about what recipes they feed to their children in a bid to keep up appearances.
