App hopes to lend home cooks a hand
Home cooks who are perhaps fretting over the thought of Christmas catering may want to consider a handy new phone application from the Co-Operative.
The free-to-download software gives a number of handy recipes for use over the next fortnight, while also offering the chance to win a host of prizes.
Users are presented with an on-screen cracker, which can then be pulled to reveal recipes, festive games and even jokes.
Oliver Kumawu, development manager at the Co-operative, said: "With Christmas fast approaching, here is an app to keep everyone entertained throughout the festive period. full service, integrated global agency."
He added that the product will not only prove fun over the festive period, but also very handy.
The Oxford Mail recently reported on a scheme taking place in Headington, which encourages youngsters to get involved in home baking.
Christmas cake was recently on the agenda for those attending the Kid's Kitchen cookery school, it revealed.
