Go to Lily's for a real dog's dinner

Now it's not just humans who can experience delicious dining made with the best cooks tools - a special restaurant just for dogs has opened its doors in Belgravia, London.

Lily's Kitchen Diner serves up a selection of tasty dishes for the canine in your life and is the brainchild of Henrietta Morrison, founder of the Lily's Kitchen range of pet food.

Unlike most restaurants, dogs eat for nothing at the diner - although their owners are encouraged to leave donations for Dogs Trust, the UK's biggest stray dog charity.

As well as cooking breakfasts, lunches and dinners for her customers, the proprietress has laid on a "snooze zone" by the fireplace and even a play area.

"We're delighted to be offered the opportunity of creating a fun and different experience for dogs and their owners, one of which would give us eye-to-eye contact with our customers and be highly memorable," commented Ms Morrison.

Dogs Trust recently announced plans for the world's most sustainable rescue centre, which will be based in Leicestershire.
