"Healthy lifestyles" help future fertility, says expert
Living a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and a balanced diet will help future fertility in women, according to experts at First Response.
The chances of women becoming pregnant are reduced as they age, which can even start at around the age of 24, according to First Response representative Dr Mike Smith.
Dr Smith said: "What is important for women in their twenties is to think about safeguarding their future health. Living a healthy lifestyle will help to improve future fertility."
As well as this, Dr Smith added that reductions in smoking and moderated alcohol consumption can also help to boost future fertility.
Meanwhile, a dietary expert has said that merely "cutting back" on food intake can help to promote healthy eating.
The author of the Essential Guide to Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal Supplements, Sarah Brewer, advised people to include higher amounts of fruit and vegetables in their personal diet.
