Fifth annual Mold Food Festival
Wales' fifth annual Mold Food Festival in Flintshire is scheduled for this weekend and will offer attendees the opportunity to sample a diverse array of speciality food and cookware from around the globe.
Exhibitors range from MedFood to Box Fresh Organics and all of them will be displaying their own styles of cooking, with the festival organisers hoping that the attendance will surpass 2009 total of 10,000.
The festival is organised by volunteers from local businesses and councils, as well as individuals from other backgrounds.
Chairman of the event John Les Tomos told the Flintshire Chronicle: "The festival has gone from strength to strength and it is fantastic that, as we prepare to celebrate its fifth year, the response from local producers and businesses continues to be high."
Mr Tomos also thanked all the businesses that "value this sort of event".
The Flintshire festival will be the second of its sort in Wales, following last week's Abergavenny Food Festival, which set an attendance record, as 40,000 people were attracted to the occasion.
